I am thrilled to announce that I have joined Corel Software’s list of PaintShop Professionals. As part of this, I will be promoting the editing software I love, Corel PaintShopPro through future blog posts, tutorials, how tos, and more. I look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge of this very powerful editing software.
As a brief introduction, I want to share this recent image I created of my friend and Makeup Artist’s cosplay of Harley Quinn. These images are created using multiple layers and photographs – starting often with studio shots and then layered with combinations of other backgrounds and stock images. The result is a complete fantasy image .. limited only by our imaginations.
For Harley, I started with this image from Fort Worth’s Sundance Square and added the stock image of the cars, made night fall, and added the Bat Signal for additional atmosphere.
In the future, I intend to create some tutorials of different techniques used on these kinds of images as well as some fast edit videos of the entire process. I’ll also be sharing additional tools I use (such as the Topaz Suite of plugins). You can find many of these on the Affiliate Links page of my site.
